An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the richter scale jolted Lahore at about 0250 hours on Wednesday, awakening many residents. According to local Met Office, the epicentre of the earthquake, which was experienced for a few seconds only in the Punjab capital, was recorded 350 km south-east of Peshawar.
